Mike Roberts

Mike is an experienced industry veteran, having invested so much of his life into his work between 1978 and 2012. He spent 34 years working as a carpenter, with 31 of those years also acting as a foreman/supervisor. Mike entered the workforce with a high school education, diligently working his way up through the industry before becoming a project superintendent in 2012. He is both OSHA 30 and Red Cross certified.

When asked for a short bio for his team page, he gave us “too old for everything else.”

Off the job site, Mike enjoys a good western, with his all-time favorite movie being Shane. His favorite foods are Mexican, Italian, Argentinian, and anything with steaks & seafood.

Of all the aspects of this job, Mike’s favorite part is witnessing an entire project evolving from nothing to a beautiful, complete building. He is particularly proud of finishing the Alamitos School with high praise from School District, an accomplishment now only surpassed by surviving the chaos of 2020 at his current site, Metamorphosis on Foothill. Mike looks forward to his future at GB: for more opportunities to make clients happy by delivering quality projects, and more projects that challenge us, making G. B. Construction, Inc. into an even better company!
