We are excited to announce that we have signed the contract with Holos Communities (Formerly Clifford Beers Housing) for a Project Homekey development from the California Department of Housing and Community Development in Los Angeles.
The project, known as PHK Avenida, will rehabilitate the current Avenue Hotel located at the meeting point between the Koreatown and Rampart Village neighborhoods. Avenida will serve entirely chronically unhoused households in Los Angeles. When completed, Avenida will contain 76 studio units (including 12 mobility units and 9 communication units), laundry facilities, supportive service and property management offices, an update of all fire life safety, additional security system features, ADA upgrades, and a community room.
Construction is to start in early September 2022 with a tentative March 2023 end date.
Construction budget is $5M.
